Field Trials
SaferGardens validates Celsius crop-health systems under real farm conditions. The trials below summarize crop, disease complex, treatment approach, and field status.
SaferShield Cocoa Trials
Crop: Cocoa
Location: Rancho Quemado and Erin, Trinidad and Tobago
Trial period: August 2023 to December 2024
Target: Witches’ broom, black pod, frosty pod, vascular streak dieback, and related cocoa disease pressure
System: SaferShield ARREST + CONTROL
Purpose: Suppress active cocoa disease pressure and support practical field recovery without relying only on repeated phytosanitary removal.
Field sites: A 6-acre plot in Rancho Quemado and a 5-acre plot in Erin, both affected by witches’ broom, with nearby disease pressure also observed.
Field tested; expanded validation recommendedSTIM27 Coconut Recovery Trial
Crop: Coconut
Location: Trinidad and Tobago
Target: Palm decline, beetle pressure, red-ring nematode complex, and related recovery symptoms
System: STIM27 recovery protocol
Purpose: Test whether declining coconut palms can show visible recovery signs after treatment.
Field observation trial completed; further validation requiredMUSA ToolBox Banana Protocols
Crop: Banana and plantain
Location: Trinidad and Tobago
Target: Moko, Panama/Fusarium, Sigatoka, borers, and nematodes
System: M-INJECT, M-CORE, leaf-axil treatment, foliar treatment, and root-zone protocols
